Lisa obtained both a BS and MS in civil engineering from Case Western Reserve University with a focus in environmental engineering. During nearly two decades of engineering work, her projects involved environmental assessment and remediation, public grant applications, public information meetings, water treatment, green and sustainable designs, legal negotiations with clients and regulators, and urban redevelopment in both the public and private sectors.
In addition to a technical understanding, Lisa’s experience equipped her with the skills necessary to evaluate the legal and financial aspects of the projects that come before city council. Her breadth of knowledge would be a useful addition and bring educational diversity to the council which is typically comprised of members primarily from the legal and financial business sectors.
