Community

During her 25 years as a Rocky River resident, Lisa has been committed to education and community. She has:

– Acted on the Board of Directors for Montessori Children’s School from 2007 to 2010.

– Taught kindergarten Sunday classes for St. Christopher’s Parish School of Religion.

– Empowered future young women as a Girl Scout troop leader from 2010 to 2017 and served as the Rocky River Girl Scout’s Service Unit Director from 2013 to 2015.

– Gave presentations to Girl Scout troops, classrooms, and the RRHS environmental club to increase awareness and understanding of the causes and effects of environmental pollution and ways to remediate it.

– Volunteered at Rocky River school events and for the RRHS band.

– Participated in community events like River Sweep, NAMI Walks, and the Walk to End Alzheimers.

– Volunteered with the Rocky River Assistance Program (RRAP) Food Pantry and the Cleveland Food Bank and served on the RRAP committee from 2018 to 2022.

– Graduated from Rocky River Citizens Police Academy in 2022 and was elected class president.
